Amazing. But cant download. Anything
When I connect to my camera, the time moves 12 hours into the past and the timestamp is turned on, so I can't use the app. If I try to download a video to my phone, the process never completes. It would be useful if I could set the time through the app.
I'm happy with the Olfi camera, but this app needs a lot of work. First, why do I have to connect to the camera to view videos that I have downloaded to my phone? And why are downloaded videos hidden in some folder on my phone that doesn't show up in the gallery? Downloading videos is slow and unreliable. If a download is interrupted it's impossible to tell which videos successfully downloaded to your phone and which are still on the camera. The videos show in in downloaded but are unplayable
Does exactly what you need it to do! Granted there are a few niggles, theyre only minor :)
only have managed to get the app to work a couple of times i have kept it hoping that it will be sorted out but I have had it for over a year
Running Android 9. Olfi and phone connect successfully but the app does not recognize this! Solution? or have you guys given up on this app?
Awful, full of bugs , never let's me download vids or photos to the phone from the camera
Remains a low quality app, unable to view or edit it's own generated videos. WiFi connection settings lost every switch off. Bloated at 85MB and Olfi need to stop attempting at trendy and make software that works well.
The app works well for me. You can do all the necessary functions, like downloading photos and videos (although this could be improved) and taking photos remotely.
There is so much wrong with this app, it's hard to know where to start. I have tried it on 2 devices, both running Android 6. HTC One M9 and aGalaxy Tab S2. The Wi-Fi connection constantly shows "unstable internet connection" after about 30 secs. The video counter doesn't work. It's stuck on zero. Playback is very sluggish and only plays for 5 or 6 secs before pausing to buffer. Once the playback function has been accessed, then the poor Wi-Fi connection means that it's a coin toss whether the camera is accessible without first resetting the Wi-Fi. All this means that the app cannot be relied upon to control the camera. And yes I have downloaded the latest firmware.
